Judy Maddigan MP Member for Essendon, is pleased to announce that applications for the Victorian Government 2008 National Youth Week Grants are now open.
Groups of young people who are supported by local governments, not-for-profit organisations or their school may apply for NYW Grants of up to $2,000.
"I invite local young people to get together with community organisations and work on a project that helps build and strengthen their community." Ms Maddigan said.
"National Youth Week provides an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their talents, and to further develop their skills and leadership abilities." She said.
Victoria's largest celebration of young people, National Youth Week, will be held from 5th to 13th April 2008.
